Editorial policy
People use our guides to make decisions that cost time and money. These are the rules we follow so that you can rely on them.
Where our facts come from
- Exam formats, question counts, time limits, prices, prerequisites and renewal rules come from the issuers' official pages: PMI, CompTIA, ISC2, AWS and Cisco.
- Every guide shows the date it was last checked and links its sources.
- When an official page does not publish a figure (for example, some prices load only inside an issuer's store), we say which secondary source we used, and we mark it for re-checking.
- We don't publish salary figures or pass rates unless they come from a source we can cite.
Practice questions
Our editors write every practice question against the official exam domains published by each issuer. We never copy or paraphrase real exam questions or "brain dumps": that would breach the issuers' candidate agreements and wouldn't help you learn.
Updates and corrections
We review exam guides when an issuer announces a change (for example a new exam version) and at least every six months. If we get something wrong, we fix it and change the "updated" date on the page.
Money and independence
Some links may earn us a commission. Commissions never decide what we recommend, and no platform, instructor or issuer can pay to be included or ranked. See our disclosure and ranking methodology.
Independence from the issuers
PrepVerdict is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by PMI, CompTIA, ISC2, Amazon Web Services or Cisco. Their names and certification marks belong to them.
